How BBenny Study works

All lessons at BBenny study are conducted online. You can join using a computer, smartphone, or tablet connected to the internet.

To start using BBenny study you’ll need to register an account. It’s free! When you’re ready you can start by searching for tutors and lessons that might interest you

Schedule your lesson

Once you find a lesson you’d like to take, send a “Book Lesson” request. You can choose any time slot the tutor has made available. Times are displayed in your local time zone. After selecting the date, make the payment using Alipay, bank cards or Wise.  

Start the journey!

Wait until your request is confirmed (you’ll receive the e-mail). When the lesson is confirmed, on the day of the lesson, start your lesson using Zoom, Voov, MS Teams (Skype) or Google Meet.

We accept various payment methods, including Wise, Alipay, credit and debit cards.

BBenny study is a service where you can take 1-on-1 online lessons from tutors around the world. Study Maths, Physics, Chemistry or foreign languages with BBenny study.

There are no registration fees, admission fees, or monthly charges at BBenny study. You only pay for the lessons you take, and you can also take a break at any time.

You need a computer, tablet, or smartphone connected to the internet. For any other materials required for the lessons, you should consult with your tutor.

There’s no set number of lessons! The student manages his own training: choosing a tutor, schedule and cost of lessons – without mandatory packages and long-term contracts. So you can take as many lessons as you like.

Lesson lengths are set by the tutor and listed on their profile page. As a rule tutors offer 30 and 50 minute long lessons.

Yes, you can. Please, note: Any cancellation done more than 3 hours before the lesson start time will be free of charge for the student. If the student cancels within less than 3 hours before the scheduled time the tutor may charge a fee.

Go to Our tutors page. Choose the tutor → Click on tutor’s photo, you’ll be redirected to tutor’s Profile → On tutor’s profile, select “Lessons” tab and click “Book lesson” button, you’ll be redirected to tutor’s Calendar for selecting the lesson Date and Time. Please, see the instruction below.

On tutor’s profile, select “Lessons” tab → Choose the lesson you like, click “Book lesson” button, you’ll be redirected to tutor’s Calendar for selecting the lesson Date and Time → Enter your personal information → Click “Checkout” → Select the payment option (Alipay, Debit cards or Wise) and pay online. We accept debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, MIR for payments in Russia), Alipay (for payments in China and Singapore) and Wise (for payments worldwide). Please, see the instruction below.

You can’t record a lesson without tutor’s permission. If you need to record the lesson in order to review it later, you should first ask your tutor’s permission.

First go to Our tutors page, you’ll see tutors’ profiles, then check out tutor’s profile page – as a rule tutors have introduction videos. You can also ask questions before your lesson using the “Message tutor” button on their profile.

Yes, you can! Students can take lessons from multiple tutors, either in the same category or different ones. Tutors won’t know whose lessons you’re taking.

After the lesson, you can leave a feedback about the lesson. Help the tutor become better! In your Personal Account, click “Feedback” tab → select a lesson from the list → select the three characteristics that best describe the lesson and also leave your comment. Please, see the instruction below.

Во избежание недопонимания с учениками или родителями мы создали базовый перечень правил поведения, которые мы хотели бы, чтобы все наши репетиторы принимали во внимание во время занятий:

  1. Камера: должна быть включена во время занятия. Убедитесь, что ваше лицо видно, освещено и находится в кадре. Запрещено делать запись занятия без разрешения репетитора или ученика.
  2. Одежда и внешний вид: Пожалуйста, одевайте подходящую одежду (никакой слишком яркой/ пестрой/ праздничной одежды, халатов, пижам и растрепанных волос, а также голого торса).
  3. Условия проведения занятия: ваш фон должен быть нейтральным и аккуратным. Если ваш фон очень отвлекает, мы рекомендуем использовать виртуальный фон. Пожалуйста, убедитесь, что нет громкого шума, других людей, говорящих на заднем плане, либо постоянно проходящих мимо вас. Не разрешается преподавать, находясь в общественных местах (например, в кафе, библиотеке, транспорте или на улице).
  4. Еда и напитки: Не ешьте во время занятия.  Не курите во время занятия. Не употребляйте алкоголь непосредственно перед или во время занятия. Допустимо пить воду из кружки или стакана.
  5. Посторонние на занятии: Не приглашайте других людей для участия в ваших занятиях. Не спрашивайте учеников о других занятиях или репетиторах, так как это может смутить их.
  6. Запрещены занятия со студентами за пределами платформы BBenny study.
  7. Репетиторы не могут обмениваться с учениками какими-либо личными данными, например, номером телефона, WhatsApp и т.д.

Мы в BBenny study хотим, чтобы ученики и репетиторы самых разных национальностей, пола, способностей и ограниченных возможностей чувствовали себя комфортно во время занятий. 

Политика отмены занятий ВBenny study

  • До подтверждения запроса репетитором ученик в праве отменить занятие в любое время без взимания платы.
  • Более чем за 3 часа до начала занятия. Отмена возможна в любое время.
  • Менее чем за 3 часа до начала занятия. Репетитор в праве взимать плату за отмену.
  • В случае неявки ученика репетитор может взимать плату. 

Неявка ученика (No-Show):
Если ученик не присоединился к занятию в согласованное время – не волнуйтесь!
Прежде всего, отправьте ученику вежливое напоминание через раздел «Мои сообщения».
Если ученик по-прежнему не реагирует на ваши попытки связаться через «Мои сообщения», направьте уведомление в Службу поддержки BBenny study и подождите 15 минут.
Если ученик так и не появился, зафиксируйте факт неявки (No-Show), сообщив в Службу поддержки BBenny study ID занятия, имя ученика и дату. После этого вы можете завершить занятие.

ПРИМЕЧАНИЕ: Данные правила являются общими для репетиторов. Однако некоторые репетиторы могут взимать плату за отмену, если ученик отменяет занятие менее чем за 3 часа до его начала или в случае неявки.
Репетиторы готовятся к занятиям заранее, поэтому они имеют право получать оплату за пропущенные занятия, если ученики пропускают их без предварительного уведомления.

Неявка репетитора – это любой случай, когда вы не можете начать занятие вовремя без предварительного уведомления, и в результате занятие отменяется учеником, либо сотрудниками BBenny study. Если вы не явились на занятие, вы должны принять все меры, чтобы исправить ситуацию (связаться со учениками, предоставить скидку и т.д.). Три (3) Неявки может привести к удалению вашего профиля репетитора.

Dos and Don'ts for tutors

In order to avoid misunderstandings with students or parents, we have created a basic list of things and behaviors that we would like all our tutors to take into account during lessons:

  1. Camera: The camera must be turned on during the lesson. Make sure your face is visible, illuminated and in the frame. It is forbidden to record a lesson without the permission of the teacher or student.
  2. Clothing and appearance: Please wear suitable clean clothes (no overly bright/colorful/festive clothes, dressing gowns, pajamas,  disheveled hair and naked torso).
  3. Lesson conditions: Your background should be neutral and neat. If your background is very distracting, we recommend using a virtual background. Please also make sure that there is no loud noise, other people talking in the background, or constantly passing by you. It is not allowed to teach in public places (for example, in a cafe, library, transport or on the street).
  4. Food and drinks: Do not eat during the lesson. Do not smoke during the lesson. Do not drink alcohol immediately before or during the lesson. Drinking water from a mug or glass is allowed.
  5. Outsiders in class: Do not invite other people to participate in your lessons. Do not ask students about other lessons or tutors, as this may confuse them.
  6. It is forbidden to have lessons with students outside BBenny study.
  7. Tutors cannot share any personal data with students, such as phone number, whatsapp, etc.

At BBenny English, we want students and tutors of a wide variety of nationalities, genders, abilities and disabilities to feel comfortable during lessons.

BBenny study Lesson cancellation policy:

  • Before request is confirmed cancellation possible at any time without charge.
  • More than 3 hours before lesson start time. Cancellation is possible at any time.
  • Less than 3 hours before lesson start time. The tutor may take a cancellation fee.
  • No-Show. The tutor may take a cancellation fee.

Student No-Show: If your student doesn’t join the lesson at the confirmed lesson time – don’t panic! First of all, send a kind reminder to your student using My Messages. If your student still isn’t reacting to your efforts to reach them via My Messages, sent a message to BBenny study Support staff and wait for 15 minutes. If the student isn’t showing up, report No-Show to BBenny study support staff (specify Lesson ID, Student’s name and date). Then quit the lesson.

NOTE: This is the general Lesson cancellation policy, however, some tutors may choose to apply a cancellation fee if a student cancels a lesson less than 3 hours before lesson start time or in case of No-show.

A Tutor No-show is defined as any incidence where you fail to start the lesson on time without prior notice, and the lesson is consequently cancelled by the student or BBenny study staff. If a No-Show has happened you should take every measure to make amends for the incident (contacting the students, issuing discount etc).
3 No-Shows may lead to the termination of your tutor profile.

Normas de Conducta para Alumnos

Con el fin de evitar malentendidos con los tutores, hemos elaborado una lista básica de comportamientos y aspectos que todos los alumnos deben tener en cuenta durante las lecciones:

  1. Cámara: La cámara debe permanecer encendida durante toda la leccione. Asegúrese de que su rostro sea claramente visible, esté bien iluminado y centrado en el encuadre. Está Prohibido grabar una lección sin el permiso del tutor.
  2. Vestimenta y presentación personal: Por favor, use ropa adecuada y limpia. No se permite el uso de ropa excesivamente brillante, colorida, festiva, ni batas, pijamas o el torso desnudo.
  3. Condiciones del entorno de la leccione:
    El fondo debe ser neutro y ordenado. Si su fondo resulta muy distractivo, se recomienda el uso de un fondo virtual. Asimismo, asegúrese de que no haya ruidos fuertes, personas hablando o pasando constantemente por detrás. No está permitido asistir a lecciones desde lugares públicos (por ejemplo: cafés, gimnasios, bibliotecas, medios de transporte o la vía pública, entre otros).
  4. Consumo de alimentos y bebidas:
    No está permitido comer ni fumar durante la leccione. Está prohibido consumir bebidas alcohólicas inmediatamente antes o durante la clase. Se permite beber agua de un vaso o taza.
  5. Presencia de terceros en lecciones:
    No invite a otras personas a participar en sus clases. No formule preguntas al tutor sobre otras clases o alumnos, ya que esto puede generar confusión o incomodidad.

En BBenny study, promovemos un entorno donde alumnos y tutores de distintas nacionalidades, géneros, capacidades y discapacidades puedan sentirse cómodos durante las sesiones educativas.

Política de Cancelación de lecciones en BBenny study:

  • Antes de la confirmación por parte del tutor:
    El alumno tiene derecho a cancelar la clase en cualquier momento y sin coste alguno, siempre que la solicitud de clase no haya sido confirmada por el tutor.

  • Cancelación con más de 3 horas de antelación:
    El alumno podrá cancelar la clase en cualquier momento, sin penalización, si la cancelación se realiza con más de tres (3) horas de antelación respecto al horario programado.

  • Cancelación con menos de 3 horas de antelación:
    Si el alumno cancela la clase con menos de tres (3) horas de antelación, el tutor tendrá derecho a cobrar una tarifa por cancelación, a su entera discreción.

  • Ausencia del alumno (No-show):
    En caso de que el alumno no se presente a la clase sin previo aviso, el tutor podrá cobrar la tarifa completa correspondiente a dicha clase.

Nota: Estas normas constituyen la política general de BBenny study respecto a las cancelaciones. Sin embargo, cada tutor puede aplicar su propia política individual en lo relativo a cancelaciones con poca antelación o ausencias no justificadas.
Los tutores dedican tiempo a la preparación previa de sus clases, por lo tanto, tienen derecho a ser compensados por las clases perdidas si el alumno no avisa con la debida antelación.

为了避免与老师之间的误解，我们制定了一份基本的行为规范清单，希望所有的学生在上课期间能够遵守：

  4. 食物及饮料：课程中请勿吃东西。于课前或课程中请勿饮用含酒精饮料。喝水是没有问题的。
  5. 课堂外人：不要邀请其他人参加你的课程。 不要向老师询问其他课程或学生，因为这可能会让他们感到困惑。

在BBenny study，我们希望不同国籍、性别、能力和残疾的学生和老师在上课时感到舒适。

BBenny study 课程取消规则
